In short

We only collect what we need to run TabDepo.
We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.
We use one cookie to keep you logged in. We use Google Analytics only if you say yes.
You can ask us to see, change, or delete your data at any time.

1. Who we are

TabDepo is run by Falcon Solutions s.r.o., Centrum 2412/43 Zvolen 960 01 , company ID (IČO) 54 586 658, registered in Obchodný register Okresného súdu Banská Bystrica, oddiel: Sro, vložka č. 43676/S.

We decide how your personal data is used, so under the EU data protection law (GDPR) we are the “controller”. If you have any question about your data, write to us at privacy@tabdepo.com.

2. What we collect and why

What we do not collect: passwords (TabDepo does not use them), payment details (there are no paid plans yet), and your browsing history. We only see the links you choose to save.

3. When TabDepo visits the pages you save

When you save a link, our server visits that page one time to get its name, icon, and short description. The website sees our server, not you.

If a page has no icon we can use, our server may ask DuckDuckGo’s icon service for one. It only gets the website’s name (like “example.com”), nothing about you.

4. Cookies

We use one cookie, called tp_session. It is set when you log in and keeps you logged in for up to 30 days, or until you log out. TabDepo cannot work without it, so we do not ask for consent. We do not use cookies for ads.

If you click Allow in our cookie message, we also use Google Analytics. It sets cookies whose names start with _ga, which last up to 13 months. They help us count visits and see which pages are used. We only send the page address without any details: never your links, your notes, your email, or your board names. If you click No, thanks, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.

You can change your choice at any time: .

The login page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you are a person and not a bot. For this check, Cloudflare may process technical information about your browser and device. You can read more in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

5. Companies that help us

These companies process data for us, only to run TabDepo:

Vultr runs our servers and database. Location: Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
Resend sends our login emails. It gets your email address and the email itself.
Cloudflare runs the “are you a person?” check on the login page.
Google (Google Ireland Limited) runs Google Analytics, only if you allow it.

Some of these companies are based in the USA. When data leaves the EU, we rely on the safeguards the law requires, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

We never sell or rent your data. We only give it to authorities when the law requires it.

6. How long we keep your data

Your account, boards, links, and notes: as long as you have an account.
Links and notes you delete: 30 days, so mistakes can be fixed. Then they are removed for good.
Login codes and login links: removed after 1 day.
Logins (sessions): removed when they end, after 30 days or when you log out.
IP addresses used for the login limits: kept in the server’s memory for up to 24 hours.
Google Analytics data: 14 months, then Google deletes it.
Feedback: as long as it helps us improve TabDepo. You can ask us to delete it.

When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days. Copies in backups are removed when those backups are replaced.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

show you the data we have about you,
fix data that is wrong,
delete your data and your account,
give you a copy of your data in a common file format,
stop or limit how we use your data, or stop using it for our legitimate interests.

Just write to privacy@tabdepo.com. We will answer within one month.

If you think we are not handling your data correctly, you can also complain to the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).

8. How we protect your data

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), we keep login codes only in scrambled form, we limit login attempts, and only people who need to can access our servers. No system is perfect, but we work hard to keep your data safe.

9. Children

TabDepo is not for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or in TabDepo.
